Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26. 9am to 4pm, with a performance at 4pm on Friday, July 26. Students should pack a lunch. 2 snacks will be provided. For ages 7-14. Destination: America! A Coast to Coast Musical Tribute is a musical revue by Roger Emerson and John Jacobson. From the publisher: "The music of America tells its story... from Nashville to Seattle, New York to L.A., and everywhere in between, the heart of America is beating in its music! Whether you're a fan of Rock and Roll or Country, Broadway or Motown... you'll find it all right here!" Students will learn the music and choreography for this fun musical romp and perform the finished product with lights, sound, props, and costumes on the final day of camp! Students will help to design and build their set, create props, put together costumes, all while learning acting and performance techniques and gaining confidence in their abilities on and offstage. What to Expect from Destination: America! Production Camp: We believe that students learn best through experience, so everyone who registers is guaranteed a role with extensive stage time singing and dancing, as well as the possibility of lines. (Note: because this production is a revue, there are fewer lines than a traditional musical.) While we will hold auditions, they will be low-stakes and low stress with an emphasis on getting to know the camper as well as placing them in the best role for their own growth. This camp is perfect for both seasoned performers looking to strengthen their skills and lengthen their resume and also beginners hoping to gain experience and confidence. This is a FULL production with costumes, lighting, and a set!

Cancellation Policy

For workshops, refunds are available up to 5 days before the course is scheduled to begin. Within 5 days, credit will be provided to a future workshop or a partial refund may be sought. ​ For courses and productions, refunds are available up to 14 days before the course is scheduled to begin, less a $40 registration fee. Within 14 days, credit will be provided to a future offering or a partial refund may be sought. For June summer camps, there are no refunds available past May 1, 2024. Up until May 1, a partial refund (less a $50 registration fee) may be sought. For July summer camps, there are no refunds available past June 1, 2024. Up until June 1, a partial refund (less a $50 registration fee) may be sought.
