Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 7. 9:00am-1:00pm Like pirates? Shipwrecks? Deserted, tropical islands? Join us for a week of acting, storytelling, and improv comedy centered around the idea of a deserted island and all it might entail. Students will create an original theatrical piece on the theme of a "treasured island," coming up with characters, helping to design and build the set, and performing the piece on the last day of camp. We will meet each morning at Storefront Theatre of Indianapolis (55th Place and Keystone Avenue) from 9am-1pm and present our original piece on the last day of camp. Note: Students should pack a lunch for this camp. A small snack will be provided each day. What to Expect from Treasured Island: A one-of-a-kind experience. The chance to collaborate with your peers to create an original showcase. The ability to design and create set pieces, props, and costume pieces. Valuable instruction and experience meant to strengthen and polish performance skills and technique. A small camper to instructor ratio. Lasting memories!
Cancellation Policy
For workshops, refunds are available up to 5 days before the course is scheduled to begin. Within 5 days, credit will be provided to a future workshop or a partial refund may be sought. ​ For courses and productions, refunds are available up to 14 days before the course is scheduled to begin, less a $40 registration fee. Within 14 days, credit will be provided to a future offering or a partial refund may be sought. For June summer camps, there are no refunds available past May 1, 2024. Up until May 1, a partial refund (less a $50 registration fee) may be sought. For July summer camps, there are no refunds available past June 1, 2024. Up until June 1, a partial refund (less a $50 registration fee) may be sought.
